Sophia Werfel is a social philosopher at Freie Universität Berlin and works as a doctoral researcher at the Collaborative Research Center Intervening Arts in the project Between Opening and Closing: Political Movements and Artistic Intervention. Under the supervision of Robin Celikates, she is writing a doctoral thesis on the political mimicry of the so-called New Right, applying various approaches from ideology theory. She is also an editorial assistant for the Historical-Critical Dictionary of Marxism (HKWM), published by the Berlin Institute for Critical Theory (InkriT), and regularly writes book reviews for the journal Das Argument.
