Sambojang Ceesay is a social philosopher specializing in critical racism research at Freie Universität Berlin and works as a research assistant at the Collaborative Research Center Intervening Arts in the project Between Opening and Closing: Political Movements and Artistic Intervention. In his doctoral thesis, supervised by Prof. Dr. Robin Celikates, he examines the aesthetic dimension of memory politics by anti-racist protest movements in the wake of the racist terrorist attack in Hanau. Sambojang also works as a trainer, coach, and consultant for diversity and anti-discrimination.
